We’ve heard your feedback, and we’re making parking at The Barracks easier than ever. To ensure your next visit is seamless and stress-free, we’re bringing back ticketed entry to the car park—starting from February 24!

Enjoy two hours of free customer parking, or three hours free when visiting the cinemas, with convenient access seven days a week. Whether you’re here for a quick coffee, a long lunch, or a movie night, parking is now simpler and hassle-free.

Walking

The Barracks is just a short walk via the pedestrian overpass from the Roma Street Transit Centre.

Parking at The Barracks

The Barracks car park is open seven days a week, including public holidays, from 5:00am to 1:00am the following day. Entry is via a ticketed system – simply take a ticket on arrival and pay at the machine before you exit. All visitors receive 2 hours of free parking once per day, with rates applying thereafter: $15 for 2–2.5 hours, $18 for 2.5–3 hours, and increasing incrementally to a daily maximum of $49.

Please note the car park may be busier during Suncorp Stadium events – we recommend checking the Suncorp Stadium event calendar before visiting.
